Sublime Yarns Luxurious Aran Tweed

During the spring there was this event called “Garnfesten” where a bunch of smaller shops had sales and competitions and what not. During this little festival I went a little bonkers and ordered some yarn. Amongst other things 6 skeins of Sublime Yarns Luxurious Aran Tweed. The color looked somewhat blue in the online pictures.

Unfortunately on receiving the yarn it was more towards the purple in color. A shade of purple that I generally feel is a poor fit for me.

I had no general idea on what to do with this yarn before-hand, but scouting ravelry I found Hetty by Andi Setterlund. The yarn weight is the same and the original pattern also calls for some tweed yarn, so I figured it would probably work.

I’m not 100 % sure of the fit after knitting a small sample. What does the internets think? Go or no go? Make a hetty or let yarn be in stash indefinitely? Any other fitting patterns?
